CAN YOU HELP ME PLAN THE TIMELINE OF THE DAY?

Of course! I hear… “I don’t know how to plan the day, I’ve never done this before!” …a lot! You’re not alone in feeling this way. Send me a message if you’d like to meet up or have a phone call to hash out a draft of a schedule. My rule of thumb: give yourself more time than you need for EVERYTHING! Having extra time is always better than rushing, 10 times out of 10!

And seriously: there is NO right or wrong way. There isn’t even a “best” way! Just plan you + your lover’s dream day.

HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD WE ALLOT FOR PHOTOS?

I can make it work with as LITTLE or as MUCH time as you have, but almost always: more time = more relaxed and natural time = likely, better photos!

• The portrait session route: I'd love to have time with just the two of you to capture your portraits (30 minutes to an hour, or whatever your schedule allows for) and then bridal party portraits following. This is a fun time to get away, go to a beautiful photo spot, be alone with your lover, take those portraits for the mantle, get intimate…etc, etc. :) This often offers an amazing moment to take a breath, slow down and soak in the fact that it’s your WEDDING DAY!

• The candid route: No scheduled portrait session! This doesn’t mean you won’t have photos of just the two of you, but rather that they are taken in the moment and spread out throughout the day. This is becoming more and more common, and I love it!

• Or of course, a mix of both! I specialize in candid portraiture, so no matter what, you’ll walk away with OODLES of natural and candid photos of you and your hunny.
